Zingy Detox Green Juice

Serves: 2


Ingredients:

1 large cucumber diced (organic) Juice of 1 large lemon 1 handful of parsley leaves 2 cups of water (preferably spring or purified) 2cm knob of ginger peeled 1 tablespoon of chia seeds A handful of ice cubes (optional)

1. Prepare all the ingredients. Soak the chia seeds in the water for a few minutes 2. Peel the cucumber before dicing only if it's not organic. 3. Place a handful of cucumber in the juicer followed by the parsley and ginger and juice 4. Add the rest of the cucumber and juice 5. In the jug add the ice cubes, water and chia seeds along with the lemon juice and stir 6. Pour into glasses and enjoy!

This drink is best served immediately. If you don't have a juicer a blender will work. Just blend the ginger and water first adding the rest of the ingredients once the ginger becomes a paste.
