Pineapple and Pea Power Smoothie

Today's recipe continues the week's focus on peas.

I created this smoothie with ingredients I had to hand and the resulting drink is packed full of vitamins and minerals, it's cancer fighting, eases arthritis and is an energy booster!

Add linseed, maca, hemp or other superfoods according to your mood.


Serves: 2-4


Ingredients:


1 cup of pineapple, fresh or frozen

1 cup of peas, fresh or frozen

1 orange/2 mandarins, peeled

Juice of a lime

1/3 cup of raspberries, fresh or frozen

A handful of spinach leaves

1 orange/2 mandarins, peeled

1 banana, peeled



1. Blend the pineapple with a cup of water. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Add a little bit more water if required.
