Strawberries and Cream coloured Milkshake


This milkshake was a hit with my family. I made two batches to get the contrasting colours. The base was banana, mango and soya milk, of which half was poured out into the glasses. To the remainder I added beetroot powder and raspberries.


Serves: 2-4 Preparation time: 5 minutes


Ingredients: 1 cup of frozen mango 2 ripe bananas 1 cup of raspberries (plus 4 raspberries for garnish) 1 tsp of beetroot powder 2 cups of soya milk (almond or oat)


1. Add the mango, banana and milk to the blender and blend for several minutes until fully blended. 2. Pour half of the smoothie into each of the glasses so they are 2/3rds full. 3. Add the raspberries and beetroot powder to the remaining smoothie in the blender. Blend for a minute or two till everything is blended. 4. Top the glasses with the raspberry smoothie and garnish with a raspberry.
